LOST: Um, Hang In There Locke.

When you deal with Locke-based flashbacks, you're pretty much guaranteed an appetizing reveal: he was in a wheelchair before the (first) crash; his dad is a thief, liar and murderer; the immortal Richard Alpert stalked him like Mr. Sinister stalked the X-Man Cyclops; things like that.

So it wasn't that much of shock to learn that not only did he not end up killing himself, but he was murdered and he "came back to life" when the Ajira plane crash (it did? Ok; fine).

The Locke-back didn't tell us anything about the O6 that we didn't already know: Sayid's mourning his lost love; Hurley's in the crazy house; Jack's an alcoholic, drug-addled drunk; Sun's got her own agenda; and Kate is embracing mommyhood. Sure there were was a Walt cameo, but other than reminding us that he has superpowers, there wasn't much to that scene.

The one thing that got me upset was that after all this build-up about Abaddon, he gets popped. It's like Eloise Hawking suddenly getting a life-threatening cancer.

But the biggest "surprise" was that Ben killed Locke. Seriously, once I saw it was him walking into Locke's apartment, I was expecting Ben to just push Locke out of the window. Nevertheless it was yet another layer to the John Locke onion.

As ever, questions:
  1. Why did Ben kill Locke instead of just letting him hang himself? And don't say, "Ben wanted more information." Because if you respond with that, it tels me that don't know Ben Linus.
  2. Why did the Ajira plane crash? Where did is crash? When did it crash?
  3. How was Widmore able to track the O6 like he was for Locke, yet couldn't keep tabs on Ben?
  4. Claire?
  5. Before, Jack implied that Locke sought him out, but he didn't. Jack didn't have to visit Locke in the hospital; so why did he?
  6. Why did Sayid leave the home-building gig?
  7. Who found Locke's body after Ben strangled him?
  8. What was Caesar looking for?
  9. Why was Locke able to walk (Orchid-related injury notwithstanding) when he left the Island? Are the "healing powers" permanent? Would this mean that Rose could leave the Island and still be cancer-free?
  10. Was Locke really dead? If so, how did he come back? Was his death truly the catalyst that brought the O6 back?
