It doesn't matter whether Washington has a veteran coach or a newbie; players who have a nice paycheck will show their ass and challenge authority. Bill Simmons said years ago the way to deal with these immature malcontents is a quasi-permanent benching (loss of money be damned), but pro sports are notoriously wishy-washy in dealing harshly with players they given dumptrucks full of cash to.

And it's not like this is Tom Brady we're talking about. This is a guy who barely passed the conditioning tests (a story that became a running joke after retired players and local sportscasters begin acing said tests).

Seriously, I don't know why this is so hard: if you want to play, you practice.
