After angering women, immigrants and non-Catholics, Rick Santorum has decided that there's one more group out there worth pissing off: those who like porn.
I gotta ask Rick: is porn fucking up your love life? No? Well how do you figure it's screwing up other people's? Because honestly, I would wager that it's probably saving some relationships.
In the end, it's about self control. People don't cheat on their loved ones because of porn, or gay people, or revealing outfits. They cheat because they're lustful and aren't mature enough to control that lust.
Also: you wanna ban porn on the grounds that it "contributes to violence against women?" What the hell do you think a gun does?
Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum says that “America is suffering a pandemic of harm from pornography” because the Obama administration favors “pornographers over children.”
In an undated statement on his official website, the former Pennsylvania senator promises that he will “vigorously” fight to make sure porn isn’t easily available in the U.S.
“Pornography is toxic to marriages and relationships,” the statement says. “It contributes to misogyny and violence against women. It is a contributing factor to prostitution and sex trafficking.”
