Normally, I would find someone like Levi Johnston to be as newsworthy as Meagan McCain or Liz Cheney (which is to say, "not newsworthy"). But every now and then such pseudo-celebrities, such "right-place, right-timers" manage (purely by association) to add some substance to a story that is considered by most (or at least the papers) to be newsworthy. Gov. Palin agrees with other Alaskan Republicans (that Ted Stevens' "clearance" means that the Senate seat he lost should have a do-over). Interesting that between Alaska's and Minnesota's elections Republican losses = unfair situations. I don't hear that type of talk regarding the close election in New York (maybe because the GOP think they have a chance to win that one). What's next; a do-over for the Presidential Election because the bad economy made people hate John McCain?

And that's "we can only campaign in every state for so long." Obama cuts back on 50-State Strategy . McCain gives up on Michigan . To be fair, though, Michigan is more in play than Alaska and North Dakota.
