Looks like the media is getting involved : A judge granted a motion by the Connecticut Mirror and The Day newspaper of New London to intervene in a lawsuit that could decide whether the Connecticut State Police release the names of troopers who are under investigation for allegedly falsifying or failing to report information on traffic stops. Superior Court Judge Rupal Shah issued an order on Monday granting the media organizations’ request to participate in the lawsuit, which was initiated by the Connecticut State Police Union in order to prevent the state from disclosing the names and badge numbers of more than a hundred state troopers. An audit performed by the Connecticut Racial Profiling Prohibition Project, which collects data detailing the race and ethnicity of people who are pulled over by police in the state, identified roughly 130 current and former state troopers who had a significant number of traffic stops between 2014 and 2021 that could not be corroborated using other da

Dollar Tree CEO Richard Dreiling and CFO Jeffrey Davis blamed a surprisingly large drop in gross profit margin — tumbling to 29.8% last quarter from 32.7% a year earlier — on “shrink,” the industry term for inventory losses due to theft, damages and other causes. When Williamson was interviewed by Bill Maher, she made enough left-like points for both Kulinski and Halper to highlight: What Halper and Kulinski both failed to cover was Williamson's appearance on Jimmy Dore: In other words, it's easy to portray Williamson as an ally of the Left when she's talking to an out-of-touch pro-establishment quasi-libertarian. It's much hard to do so when she's talking to a pro-worker, anti-war comedian who still interacts with the people.

 According to reports, these six officers went to confront two Black men who were staying with a White woman (who also happened to be a neighbor to one of the officers). Despite being there to help the owner, the Black men were accused of dealing drugs. They were tasered, beaten, had various food/cooking liquids poured on them, threatened with sodomy (via a dildo placed on a gun) and humiliated . Even with the officers being taken to court, this is still a very obviously racially-motivated crime .  And just a reminder that these incidents can escalate without Cop Watchers:

Ned Lamont on Monday backed the chief state’s attorney’s decision to hand over to federal authorities a criminal investigation into state police who allegedly submitted tens of thousands of phony traffic stop tickets to Connecticut’s racial profiling database.  “I think it’s appropriate,” Lamont said. “I think Pat Griffin, the state’s attorney, thought it was important to step back and let them.
