Welcome to The Now

I'm proud yet concerned . With minutes to go until his exclusive negotiating window was to expire, Jordan struck a deal late Friday night to buy controlling interest of the Charlotte Bobcats , putting the six-time NBA champion in charge of the money-losing team in his home state. Owner Bob Johnson announced in a statement that he's agreed to sell the Bobcats to Jordan, who been a part-owner of since 2006. Jordan has been running the team's basketball operations. Proud because I know from MJ's days in DC he always wanted to own a team. Concerned because I know from MJ's days in DC he was essentially merciless in practice, and became increasingly impatient with the fact that the other players weren't as good as he was.

They only scored 10 points in the third quarter . Heck, Kevin Garnett scored 10 points total .

Why shouldn't coach Larry Brown trade half the team ? The "they're still a new franchise" fragrance is starting to wear off. I just find it interesting that Michael Jordan had a chance to get Tyson Chandler when he (Jordan) was in D.C. and he passed. Is this a runabout way of saying he made a mistake?
