Rudy Giuliani Is Missing (According to Arizona Prosecutors)

Funny considering he was all over TV not too long ago:   Arizona prosecutors have tried for weeks – and so far failed – to serve Rudy Giuliani with notice of his indictment related to an alleged scheme to overturn the 2020 election results in that state. Giuliani is among a group of former President Donald Trump’s allies indicted last month in Arizona alongside the 11 individuals who acted as fake GOP electors from the state in the last presidential election. But the former New York City mayor and one-time attorney for Trump is the only defendant prosecutors have been unable to serve with a summons, according to Richie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Arizona attorney general’s office. The summons is a formal notice that Giuliani has been criminally charged and must appear before a judge on May 21. CNN has reached out to a spokesman for Giuliani for comment. FYI: Guiliani recently lost his radio show because he can't get past the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Pat My Head AND Rub My Tummy?

Apparently the media was too busy following Harry Reid's comments on Barack Obama to pay attention to Rudy Giuliani's (off all people) attempt to whitewash 9/11 .

What Does "Pull Yourself Up By Your Own Boostraps" Mean To You?

Image
Because to the Congressional Republicans, it apparently means: "People who aren't rich should have no problem selling their bodies for lunchmeat if will help get them out of debt." As the BG reports , the stimulus would give the state of Massachusetts " at least $6.5 billion in federal aid during the next two years - and residents would receive nearly $5 billion more in tax relief, unemployment checks, food stamps, and other benefits ." Tax relief? Employed Americans? Isn't that part of the GOP platform ? I see things like " The Republican Party will put a stop to both social engineering and corporate handouts by simplifying tax policy, eliminating special deals, and putting those saved dollars back into the taxpayers’ pockets ," and, " Businesses and employees, working together, are best suited to addressing the challenges ahead ," but how can people save money or start business if they are broke or unemployed? Hmmmmm? ( and on a side n...

A Noun, a Verb, and POW

Yeah, I'm going there, because if John McCain's blue blanket (think Linus from The Peanuts) is going to be "I was a prisoner/I was held against my will" and he's going to use that every time he gets cornered (whether by Barack Obama or freakin' Jay Leno ) then I'm invoking the Joe Biden Principle. Every time he uses the POW argument, he becomes more like Rudy Giuliani.

The Enemy of My Enemy Is My Friend

The "enemy" would be Mitt Romney. The "enemy of my enemy" and "friend" would be Mike Huckabee/Rudy Giuliani. Crooks and Liars has the goods .

When Rudy Meet Hillary

When Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton first went at each other for the New York Senate seat, the battle tactics were defined: Mr. Giuliani was going to portray Mrs. Clinton as inauthentic, inexperienced, a liberal champion of big government and a carpetbagger, his advisers said in interviews. Mrs. Clinton was going to paint Mr. Giuliani as divisive and undignified, temperamentally unsuited for the Senate, and profoundly uninterested in national and international affairs, her advisers said. Well, Clinton's authenticity is definitely up for debate , but her experience really isn't (she's come a long way from heading the health care reform as First Lady). The "liberal champion of big government" is a misleading term because it implies that Hillary has the base behind her ( not true ) and that all liberals favor big government (also not true). And yes, she moved to New York in order to run for the Senate, but she isn't the first politician to do so, and where doe...

Meet super villians so lame the Power Pack wouldn't bother with them. Rudy 9 iu 11 ani , via Think Progress. All You Need To Know: About Rudy Giuliani (Part 2)

Just in case you have doubts about Rudy Giuliani, check out this ad his wife made for him when he was running for Mayor of New York: BTW, his wife? It was Donna Hanover, his second of three wives...the one he dumped during a press conference.

Everyone's Trying to Grab That Hanging Fruit...

John Dickerson thinks that other than her fellow Democratic candidates ( and Tim Russert ), Hillary Clinton was also debating herself . Meanwhile, Joe Biden and Rudy Giuliani go at it ...and Giuliani's camp manages to not use "9/11," which is surprising.

Grand Old Predicament

Seems like the GOP leadership is at a crossroads. First, there's the global warming thing . Ever since Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize, Republican hopefuls for president have been torn between acknowledging reality (and thereby complimenting a Democrat) and staying true to President Bush (a tactic that's sure to sink you at this point in time). For example: Fred Thompson has gone from poking fun at the issue to taking it more seriously; John McCain claims to have been a convert since 2001. As for the flip-flopping Heckle & Jeckle of the GOP primaries? Mr. Romney and Mr. Giuliani say little about the potential dangers of climate change and almost nothing about curbing emissions of heat-trapping gases like carbon dioxide. They talk almost exclusively about the need for independence from foreign oil as a necessity for national security... [snip] ...In the tangled Republican race, Mr. Giuliani and Mr. Romney have been much more hesitant to criticize policies of President Bush...

Staying Near Wall Street Didn't Make Rudy Any Smarter

Rudy Giuliani may have alot of money, but he doesn't exactly use it well . Something to consider sense an American President usually drives the economy with their policies. Bonddad , if you're out there, I'd like to hear your take on this.

All You Need To Know: About Rudy Giuliani

I know there are those who buy into the whole "Rudy Giuliani is America's Mayor" thing, just like there are people who still think that John McCain is some political maverick (personally, I think they get him confused with this guy ). But, according to Slate.com's Fred Kaplan, Giuliani is little more than a Ferengi : It was widely assumed at the time that Baker-Hamilton [aka, the Iraq Study Group] would serve as Bush's vehicle for getting out of—or somehow otherwise resolving—Iraq. And Giuliani, like all other mainstream party members, was still very much in Bush's camp. To be a part of this 10-member panel—to claim the prestige of such august company, to play the role of politico-strategic statesman, and to gain instant credibility on a topic to which he'd previously had no exposure—should have been regarded as an enviable opportunity, both on its own terms and as a boost to his political fortune. But—given a chance to elevate his standing, serve the coun...

Well, There Goes the "We Love Dubya" Vote

Presidential wannabe and former mayor of NY Rudy Giuliani slaps G-Dub a little: What we're lacking is strong, aggressive, bold leadership like we had with Ronald Reagan. Remember, this was the guy who suggested Bernard Kerik to be head of Homeland Security . How time flies.
