I'll let others go on about this, because I personally don't think it's necessary to go beyond a reminder that this happens during every electoral cycle. Leftists, socialists, communists and post-duopolists don't need to spend too much time mocking supporters of either the Democratic or Republican Party.

The American Left has many strong, passionate, intelligent people in it . I won't go into names here directly (mostly because that would distract from the message here and my opinion on specific people and/or groups isn't the point), but if you read enough posts on this space you'll get a good idea of who some of those people are, and hopefully an inkling of the degree I agree with each of them (and trust me, no one gets 100% agreement from me, regardless of the videos and links and references). The American Left is also having a problem getting the portion of America who hasn't completely embraced the Democratic Party/Republican Party duopoly to at least consider an alternative to the dangerous actions and consequences of aligning with the capitalist-to-fascist pipeline, to the point where people who grew up watching movies like Star Wars, the Hunger Games and Harry Potter are openly asking questions like "How did we get here?" or "Are we living in an...

"No" to AOC . "No" to Kamala Harris . "No" to Gavin Newsom . "No" to Pete Buttigieg . "No" to any Democrat who is not for the following at least: Universal Healthcare (as in, declare a national health emergency and give every American Medicare); End the occupation and genocide in Gaza (they know exactly which people and country to contact); End ICE (as in, ICE is no more; no "reforms"); Raise taxes on the wealthiest 3% of Americans; Tie the Minimum Wage to Wall Street (If Wall Street makes $$$, than MW earners make more $$$); Cut the military budget by at least 60%. End all tariffs and sanctions. If they cannot agree to all of the above, they should not even be considered a candidate for president. And while we're talking about asks, here's a few more: Eliminate the AUMF and give Congress back the power to declare war; Bring back the draft; Invite DC and Puerto Rico to become states, and give Hawaii a chance to contin...

Everything that the United States of America does abroad will eventually make it home. Every foreign policy is just a domestic policy being tested in another country. Just for the sake of context, we have BreakThrough News (via Brian Becker and Professor Richard Wolff) and Due Dissidence discussing President Trump's idea that Republicans should essentially be controlling the election process for the 2026 midterms: There are already ways in place to make sure that actual citizens vote. And just to address the hypocrisy of the group advocating bringing a suitcase full of documents with you to vote in a two-party system: these same people, whenever there is a school shooting are so quick to dismiss calls for gun legislation by saying, "just enforce the laws on the books." Why, oh why, can't we use that same logic for voter registration? Anyway, I have to stress that this ploy reinforces the theory that the those in power will not allow the system they've benefitted ...

"Political Hubris" is on point: Imagine screwing up so bad, you risk losing the gerrymandering-in-progress state of Texas. It's like in their blind embrace of Donald Trump, Republicans forgot that George W. Bush's overture to Latino Americans helped to rebuild their base . But the facts about immigration escape these people.

“It's some deep psychological thing, but when you win the presidency, you don't win the midterms...when you think of it, we shouldn't even have an election.” - - President Donald Trump, suggesting that his political accomplishments should override both the current polls showing Republicans losing control of the House and Senate as well as the will of the voters, during an interview with Reuters .

Harris (or her team or followers) thinks that she has the best political attributes of Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton, but the opposite is true: she exhibits the worst of Obama and Clinton. She lacks Obama's political charisma and Clinton's political savviness, but shares their political arrogance. She has no real base because she has no core cause or core policy. Donors may favor her, but she doesn't have the allies in the Democratic Party that Obama and Clinton have. Her domestic and economic policies were fleeting if not outright non-existent. Oh, and like Obama and Clinton, she's a staunch Zionist in an era where that equates to supporting genocidal act.
