One of the targets of the mob wasn't even part of the protest: Interesting how this behavior aligns with how Palestinians are being treated in Gaza/West Bank/Israel.

NY Mayor Eric Adams Fails the "Obama Test" for Black Politicians

Margret Kimberley pretty much sums it up : New York City's mayor isn't just a self-interested member of the Black political class. He is also singularly incompetent and lacking in the most basic political skills. After a Black man was publicly murdered on the subway, Adams saw no need to go through the motions of expressing appropriate concern. New Yorkers are protesting but the clueless mayor insists that he can only mouth tin eared platitudes that please his most racist constituents. Obama had an uncanny ability to seem concerned about issues while doing next-to-nothing about addressing them. This ability helped protect him in the black community (black Democrats in particular). Not every black politicians has this gift.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, Muslim Men Are Being Targeted.

Don't let anyone tell you that anti-Muslim behavior has been tampered in the US :  Albuquerque, New Mexico (CNN)Everyday life is now permeated by fear after four Muslim men were inexplicably gunned down in Albuquerque, a mosque leader said. "Incredibly terrified. Panicked. Some people want to move from the state until this thing is over. Some people have moved from the state," said Ahmad Assed, president of the Islamic Center of New Mexico. "Businesses are closing ... early. Students won't leave their homes," he said. "It's affecting people from coming over to the mosque to conduct their services, their prayers. So, in every aspect of daily life that we're used to or accustomed to following, it's impacted it in every way possible." On Friday night, 25-year-old Naeem Hussain was found dead by Albuquerque police. He became the third Muslim man killed in the city within two weeks, and the fourth since November. Hours before his death, Hus...

Facebook Whistleblower: "There Were Conflicts of Interest" In How FB Dealt With the Spread of Hate & Misinformation

Looks like being a social media platform "empowered" by politicians to be the gatekeeper of "good information" can be problematic when profits are on the line : The identity of the Facebook whistleblower who released tens of thousands of pages of internal research and documents — leading to a firestorm for the social media company in recent weeks — was revealed on "60 Minutes" Sunday night as Frances Haugen . The 37-year-old former Facebook product manager who worked on civic integrity issues at the company says the documents show that Facebook knows its platforms are used to spread hate, violence and misinformation, and that the company has tried to hide that evidence. "The thing I saw at Facebook over and over again was there were conflicts of interest between what was good for the public and what was good for Facebook, and Facebook over and over again chose to optimize for its own interests, like making more money," Haugen told "60 Minut...

NewsMax's Bottom Line

A Black President made a white supremist so angry, he went to the Holocaust Museum to shoot Jewish people and ended up killing a black secruity guard. Or Something .

Pre-Emptive Crimes = Bad/Pre-Emptive War = Good

ThinkProgress has this post on the conservative effort to sabotage the new Hate Crimes Act where House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) says: I’ve got to tell you, I really don’t understand it. We’re going to put into place a federal law that says, not only will we punish you for the crime that you actually commit — the physical crime that you commit — but we’re also going to charge you with a crime that if we think that you were thinking bad things about this person before you committed a crime . I just — I just really don’t understand it. I’ve been opposed to this for a long time and I remain opposed to it. I mean, it’s a crime on what people were thinking when they were committing an act of violence. How do you walk into court and make a case for a crime because someone was thinking something bad . I just think it takes us down a path that is very scary. Yeah, that's kind of like starting a war with a country because you think they're bad, or because you think they have ...
