Huh? What's that you say?

All three CEOs - Rick Wagoner of GM, Alan Mulally of Ford, and Robert Nardelli of Chrysler - exercised their perks Tuesday by flying in corporate jets to DC. Wagoner flew in GM's $36 million luxury aircraft to tell members of Congress that the company is burning through cash, asking for $10-12 billion for GM alone.

Whatever happened to all the outrage about management "compensation" (any discussion of which ought to include such things as company cars, vacations, planes, etc)?
It's fucking AIG all over again, except this time the pinheads werent even smart enough to hold off flaunting their perks until after they were holding the money.

Yet another problem that we can attribute to the culture of privilege that exists at the top of our foodchain here. A "welfare queen" has got nothing on a corporate CEO.

One comparison sums this whole mess up:

When Lee Iaccoca came to the government for a loan (all those years ago), he came with a business plan and the humbleness to take $1 for his services.

When the Big Three came, they had no business plan, let alone a desire to reduce their pay.
