From Across the Pond
The Observer has two stories worth reading.
The first one is about Britain's possible withdrawal from Iraq (in May) and the pressure Prime Minister Tony Blair has be getting.
The second is about how President Bush tried to the American Public (a.k.a a "fundraiser") to help pay for reconstruction of Iraq. The amount collected? $600.
In short: America's most supportive ally in Iraq wants out, and at home Bush can't even get the most ardent of war supporters to muster up enough money to by a laptop for Iraq.
