 As the media does nonstop coverage of the one person who they said they don't like (but ratings always trumps personal feelings), I will say that the two most interesting takes of the shooting this past weekend was from Status Coup's Ron Placone, and Niko House. Niko delved into the more conspiratorial aspects a bit more, while Placone was more straight-forward about how this would impact the election. What's also interesting about this ordeal is: Trump supporters blaming Democrats and Obama (you know the people they used to call "wimps" for wanting stricter gun laws). That people at the rally claimed to have seen the shooter, but were ignored by security. That Trump is using the "Black Power Fist Pose" unironically.  Trump once bragged about taking out foreign leaders.

 This is not a joke. Well, not an intentional one: Unlike RFK Jr. and Cornel West , Uygur has decided to run as a Democrat . And yes, as Ron and Kit have mentioned, Uygur will have some legal/constitutional hurdles as he was not born in the United States.  Also: Uygur's robust platform  has a total of four policy issues: Time Off for Mothers - Paid Family Leave  Higher Wages - $15 Minimum Wage  Affordable Health Insurance – Public Option  Fight Corruption – End Gerrymandering  Not sure if foreign policy will be added later. He does have a book coming out though.

What will the pro-Democratic Party Leftists say now? Dr. West has a platform that is distinctively different from RFK, Jr. and Marianne Williamson, and now he will be running with a party that has more ballot access. Has MPP missed their moment? Odds are that the conversations were civil, but factoring the accusations from former MPP members and other left-leaning critics, the visuals play out like this: rather than stepping down or conceding any power, Nick Brana preferred to let Dr. West go and run as a Green. It's even more interesting considering that (again, according to ex-MPP members) Brana's model for electoral victory hinged on having a political celebrity run for president (which in theory would bring people to register locally).
