  4. I think Erykah Badu has a point, but as for the start off the decline: that happened with MC Hammer. Not the artist himself mind you, but the fact that he was willing to sign a record deal even though he was making money selling his own tapes out of the back of his van. Once the industry knew that hip-hop could be bought, they knew they could influence what was said.
  5. Hillary Swank wants another award I guess.
