The GOP & conservatives started President Obama's term by saying they hope he fails. Congressional Republicans did whatever they could to make President Obama's initiatives failed.

In the end, Obama's initiatives were watered down versions of what he originally wanted. They were not really failures, but they weren't all shinning triumphs either.

Now that Mitt Romney is essentially the GOP presidential candidate for the 2012 election, he has decided to campaign on the message that President Obama has failed. His examples range from vague to non-existent, and the tenuous ones he makes are more or less the results of the Bush Presidency.

In short: the GOP is planning on blaming the failures of G.W. Bush on Barack Obama, aka, "He didn't clean up our mess!"

If the prediction folks are correct, Republicans will win this year, because the economy isnt very good, and voters punish whoever is in office at the time. Never mind that it's been bad since the GOP screwed it up during the last administration. Never mind that the GOP has been doing everything in its power to keep things bad, including rejecting policies that they previously supported.
America will still elect Republicans, who will continue to destroy the country, and we will deserve every downward ratchet of life here, because we, as a nation, are stupid.
