For the record, when some says they "fought Russia during WWII," please remember that during WWII Russia was allied with the United States and Great Britain against Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan and Fascist Italy. Canada's leaders not catching this means they are either lying or very foolish. 

UPDATE: Israeli media may have tried to downplay the event, but even the commenters aren't falling for it.
