 Normally this would seem to be some cinematic production, but alas, it was a real bear . 

 

  A good a reason as any to strike:

 The director of some very memorable movies talked about working with/for Disney in the future : The filmmaker attended the Lumiere Festival in France over the weekend, where he received the honorary Prix Lumière award. He spoke at a press conference on Saturday where he likened working for the company to the character Dumbo being trapped in “this horrible big circus.” “It’s gotten to be very homogenized, very consolidated. There’s less room for different types of things,” Burton said, according to Deadline. Burton noted that Disney is now largely focused on its tentpole franchises mainly within the Star Wars and Marvel cinematic universes and of his potential involvement in the MCU in the future, he said chances were slim.  It owns the press through the Washington Post, has a stake in what people eat via Whole Foods, and now will have a stronger foothold in entertainment via their merger with MGM Studios . And let's not forget Amazon Prime, their answer to Netflix and Disney Plus as well as the fact that about 50% of online purchases go through them. Amazon's MO has been about market share first, profits as a side effect. And they are at the point now where not only can they sell you practically anything, they have the means to entice you to buy what they want you to buy.

  Without spoiling too much (besides the fact that some of your favorite MCU characters either die, are zombies, or both): Interesting that there was no main protagonist. A case could be made for either Peter or Banner, but neither were really "in charge" throughout the story. On that note, the episode highlights what happens in a world where key MCU leader types are either unavailable or just...gone. The motley crew left behind makes for cool interactions, but they're not exactly the odds on favorite for surviving.  It's cool that the zombie narrative isn't the sole story; we're seeing the events of "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Ant-Man and the Wasp" play out (somewhat) with a zombie curve-ball thrown in, so there are conflicts on top of conflicts.
