The Best Way To Handle Comic Book Deaths/Resurrections

I'm all for it. I've always yawned at deaths in the comic world because I knew somewhere down the line another writer would just bring someone back. Personally, I've never understood why writers just didn't retire characters in some way. Death is supposed to be finite, and constant resurrection undermines that concept.

Besides: we all know some day, years from now, some writer's going to get the "brilliant" idea of bring Ben Parker or Thomas Wayne back to life. So let's short-circuit those plans now.
