Can't say I had Ron DeSantis dropping out before Nikki Haley (she's still hanging in there) but I wasn't surprised that he endorsed Trump on the way out.
Interesting how America reached the inevitability of the two major parties' primaries: one achieved it by ignoring/cancelling the primary process; the other used their legal troubles to frame themselves as a political martyr while simultaneously labeling his opponents as poor imitations of himself (and why would voters choose the imitation it the real thing is still available?).
