It's Easy To Reference What Israel Has Done to Gaza Because Israelis Constantly Highlight It.
There would not be protests/public outcries around the planet, the Democratic Party in the US would not have a precarious chance of "winning back" Congress (let alone the White House), and South Africa would not have been able to make an essentially air-tight case for genocide if not for the fact certain Israeli citizens can't help but brag about it at nearly every turn:
And not only was Gazans mocked and ridiculed as they were bombed, shot and tortured, but the venomous vitriol targeted anyone who dare to defend starving children or criticize the bombing of hospitals, leading Israel's most powerful backer (the United States) to accuse South Africa of persecuting Afrikaners (the descendants of colonizers), abduct the leader of Venezuela (who had been a backer of Palestine and their right to sovereignty) and bombed Iran (the last powerful proponent for Palestine due to the limitations of Yemen, the internal politics of Hezbollah and the regime change in Syria). Iran itself became the next target, earning mockery as Israel begun what became know as the "12 Day War," named so because Iran's survival of the initial attempt of regime change failed and Iran's retaliation overwhelmed Israel to the point that they begged for the aforementioned US bombing.
Sadly, much like the attacks in Gaza (and the West Bank, which had little to nothing to do with Hamas) this didn't end mean the end of hostilities, as machinations bore fruit in the form of an "uprising" that involved Iranians who were apparently so passionate about their country being more "democratic" they were willing to attack mosques and kill their own kin to obtain it. It was only after Iran cut of internet access that the bubbling violence subsided, revealing that most of the flaming rhetoric was being stoked by entities outside of the country (here's a hint who: they bragged about it).
Also sadly: instead of either owning up to it, or at least giving some platitudinal response, our leaders (specifically those in the US, the UK and Australia) decided to double-down on the denial and accuse the critics of being the bad guys:
Worse yet, people in these circles also want to say what's happening in Nigeria, South Africa and Iran is genocide, as if the last two plus years in East Asia was an aberration.
But we know it isn't because the perpetrators still can't help but brag about it.
