Please people: stop with the joint ticket talk. It ain't gonna happen.


Hillary Clinton wants to be president. Not VP. Not Secretary of State. Not an ambassador. PRESIDENT.


Barack Obama is currently in the lead, and by "currently" I mean "in about five states he'll be the undisputed Democratic nominee." If his message for change is to be true, he probably doesn't want a political figure who supported NAFTA, couldn't get Universal Health Care (at least her way) passed and voted for invading Iraq. Those are three shining examples of Hillary Clinton's political legacy, and none of them connote "change."


So in short: if a "unity ticket" were to happen, it means that either (a) Obama and/or other prominent Democrats are afraid that Clinton will impose Operation: Scorched Earth in order to get the nod, or (b) Clinton quits this week, and does the mea culpa of all time.
