Because I don't fully understand environmental issues, don't believe in personal sacrifice and my Big Oil backers don't want to be regulated, I'm opposing Cap and Trade.

P.S.: This is the only part of the Op Ed I believe Palin wrote herself, with no help whatsoever:

We must move in a new direction. We are ripe for economic growth and energy independence if we responsibly tap the resources that God created right underfoot on American soil.


So God created oil for us to use for cars, homes and missiles, but the Sun and wind are products of that evil science. Gotcha.
