To me, it's more important that the Democrats try to pass a good bill, even if they fail, than that they pass just any ol' bill, espececially one which continues ability of the insurance companies and pharmaceuticals to remain clamped onto the national jugular.
If a good bill fails because of Republican blockage, people will know that. If a shit bill gets passed because Democrats wouldnt stand up to obstructionist Republicans, people will know that, also.
