The Difference Between Democrats and Republicans Is So Thin...

 A lifelong Democrat can switch parties so she can vote for Liz Cheney to "save" democracy.

Let's be clear about a few things:

  • If American democracy depends on one congressional seat, America is in trouble.
  • If American democracy depends on the only congressional seat Wyoming, America is in real trouble.
  • If American democracy depends on Liz Cheney winning a congressional seat, America is in serious trouble.
  • Where are the Democrats calling this voter a traitor for switching parties?
  • Where are the accusations of working with the enemy or inciting a "red-brown alliance?"
  • Why is it OK for Democrats to work with elected Republicans, but not with Republican supporters/voters?
  • If Democrats and Republicans are such enemies, why is it so easy to switch parties?
  • Why is it easier to go from Democrat to Republican (or vice versa) than to register a third party?
