Voter's Remorse?
Thom Hartmann is on air now talking about how the GOP for Hillary movement has hit a snag. For those who don't know, Rush Limbaugh called on Texas Republicans to vote for Sen. Clinton; he argued that Sen. McCain had the GOP nomination locked up (true) and that this move would at best block Sen. Obama's momentum, at worst keep the Democratic Primaries going. What Limbaugh neglected to tell his listeners is that if Republicans decided to vote for Sen. Clinton, they would not be able to vote for their party in anything else because they would be using Democratic Primary ballots.
So, while they may have contributed to Sen. Clinton's primary victory, those Republicans who followed Limbaugh's advice lost the opportunity to vote for other Republicans for things like State Senate.
