Leave it to Oliver find the cool pics, but I gotta say that having the kid from "3rd Rock From the Sun" as the main antagonist is kinda unsettling. At least until you see the rest of the cast.

Then I saw who's directing. Sure, Van Helsing was a little cheesy but the Mummy Movies kicked ass.

But why does everyone have to wear black? Where is it written that "wearing black" makes movies characters who are based on comic books or cartoons "cooler" or "more realistic?" Part of the appeal of the series (other than Larry Hama's awesome writing) was the outfits.

Nevertheless: judgement reserved.

P.S.: If the comics are a template, expect a Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover in the next 5-6 years.
