Bottom line: ideological, GOP-loving lawyer refuses to leave during the very normal transitioning period when the New Administration cleans out the old people in favor for their people. President Obama will be forced to fire said lawyer, and the GOP/conservative base/Fox News will go Coo-Coo for Coco Puffs.

Basically, the Bizarro Version of the US Attorney Firing Scandal.

He'd better hope he is clean as a whistle, and totally untainted by even a whiff of Bush-era partisanship. Not that the press will discuss that, but congress will.

It's a she, and by accounts she's pretty much a "loyal Bushie." I do agree that Congress will be paying more attention to this whole thing than the press.
